Where are you from and tell us a little bit about your home town:
Well, I was born in Cleveland, OH, but I don’t know much about it. Now, I reside in Buffalo, NY, we’re known for our food, crappy weather, and shitty sports teams, haha.

Tell us a little bit about yourself: Oy! Well, I’m a goofball, haha. Anything to make people laugh, I’ll probably do, within reason of course. Shit, anyone who’s seen our GFR Promo vid, will pretty much get an idea of what means I’ll go through, just to get a laugh.

What inspired you to become a DJ? It just seemed like fun to do, and I’ve been told I have the voice (and face) for it. So, I figured, ‘why the fuck not?’

How do you choose the songs you play on your show? Do record companies ask you to play their artists’ songs? I just find the stuff that other people have shown to like and appreciate, as well as picking stuff I like, haha. And if a record company is going to contact me, it better be because they want to sign whatever band I’m in.

Do you recommend any new artists or bands? Oh God, TONS! They’re mostly local bands from here in Buffalo that I either know, one of the members, or I’ve been recommended by someone else, or just straight up liked their shit!
STEMM
Never-Ending Process
Discidium
Mass Casualty
The Long Cold Dark
Worwyk (semi-local)

What are your personal musical influences? Oh geeze, that’s A LOT! Uhh, Metallica for sure, they’re my favorite band of all time. Pantera, Megadeth, Slayer. The list goes on, but a lot of thrash metal bands mostly.

Are you a musician yourself? If so, what do you play and do you have your own band? Yeah, I think my name says it all, haha. But, unfortunately, I’m not currently a part of something, but should be soon.

What do you love most about Metal Music? It’s loud, it’s aggressive, heavy, and it pisses people off! I can relate to it a lot as well. There’s so much in a lot of band’s lyrics, that myself, and even others, can just go, “yeah, I know what they mean.”

What are your future plans for your radio program? I really haven’t thought about it. I just play what sounds good.

Do you have a saying you like to use? Like “stay classy San Diego”
Yeah, haha. “Making like a fetus, and heading out.” and “stay off the pipe, and don’t forget to wipe!”

What was the first Album you ever bought? Wow, that was a LONG time ago. I wish I could remember, ha!

What is the funniest thing that ever happened on your show? I forgot the mic speed was up, and I was going through my spiel, and I didn’t notice until after I stopped speaking. So the whole time, I sounded like Alvin the chipmunk on a month-long drinking binge.

Have you interviewed, or met any interesting or famous people? If so who? Just some Buffalo sports stars, no one really over the top.

If you could hang out with a Rock star for a day, who would it be? James Hetfield. I’ve always looked up to him.

Tell us something unique about yourself or your Show? I.E. Contests, you DJ naked, give away prizes, etc…. I really don’t do anything special. Like I said before, I haven’t really thought of anything special, or interesting to do. The only thing I’ve done was have you as a special guest, which, by the way, we need to do again.

I’m assuming it’s not for the money so I have to ask: why do you do what you do? It’s for the love of the music, and the fact that metalheads from all over the globe, can come together, in one place, at all hours of the day and night, and just rock the fuck out! THAT, is what it’s all about. \m/
